Cast + Crew

Mosaic: Voices of Women’s Suffrage is a short play written and performed by a cast of young women (ages 12 – 16) trained through Colorado Humanities Young Chautauqua program.

Mosaic features historic portrayals of suffragists Julia Ward Howe, Caroline Nichols Churchill and Alice Paul. Through monologues — and in conversation over tea — the suffragists each share their unique perspectives on women’s equality and the passage of the 19th Amendment, granting U.S. women the right to vote.
